Flex My Job is a job board for flexible work: remote work, part-time work and jobs where employers take health conditions into account. This page explains in your language how the search works and what you can do here. The job ads themselves are in German.
How the search works
You enter a keyword — the occupation or a type of work — and a location. Then you narrow the results with filters: remote work, part-time, full-time, mini-job.
You do not need an account for this. You see the list, the filters and the number of results straight away.

What remote work, part-time and mini-job mean
These four words appear in almost every ad. Knowing them saves a lot of time when searching.
- Remote work (Homeoffice): you work from home, entirely or on some days.
- Part-time (Teilzeit): you work fewer hours than the full working week — often because a language course or childcare runs alongside.
- Full-time (Vollzeit): the company's full weekly working hours.
- Mini-job (Minijob): a marginal employment with a legal earnings limit.
The job ads are in German
We would rather say this beforehand than afterwards. The ads come from the employers and from the Federal Employment Agency's database. We do not translate them: a machine-translated job ad can misstate a requirement or the working hours, and you would base your application on it.
Your browser can translate an opened ad automatically. For deadlines, pay and requirements, still rely on the German original or ask.

Where to get advice
We are a job board and do not advise on residence, recognition of qualifications or benefits. That is what the Employment Agency and the Jobcenter are for; many cities also have advice centres for immigrants.
